As the leaves begin to turn and we prepare to enter the month of November, a time when the Church traditionally remembers the faithful departed, we are delighted to share our October newsletter with you.
In this edition, Fr. Justin offers a thoughtful reflection titled "In November, we Remember." He reminds us that remembrance is not just about looking back, but about celebrating the lives and legacy of those we love, and holding onto the hope that we will one day be gathered again as God's family. We are also invited to fill out the 'November Altar List of the Dead' envelopes, now available in our churches.
For those who have lost a loved one this year, we will be hosting a special community moment of remembrance on Thursday, 26th November at 6:30pm. We invite you to light a candle in your home or window and join us in a minute's silence to show that "this light will never die."
We also have a packed schedule of events and news from across the partnership, including:
Upcoming Remembrance Masses in Huntstown, Mountview, and Hartstown.
A heartwarming report and photos from our recent Season of Creation and Blessing of Animals celebrations.
An open invitation to join the Littlepace Choir.
Details on how you can become an Altar Server or join the new Baptism Team.
We hope you enjoy reading about the vibrant life of our community. Please pick up a copy for a friend or neighbour, or send the link to relatives overseas!
