Life in Dublin 15 moves fast. Between school, work, and family, it’s easy to feel like you’re just winging it. But the Feast of the Guardian Angels - celebrated on October 2nd - is a powerful reminder that you are never truly alone.
To help our community pause and reflect, the St Peregrine’s Parish Partnership Youth Initiative group has two new interactive resources designed for young people and families.
1. The "Field Guide" for the Feast of the Guardian Angels
This isn't a test or a lecture. It’s a space to reflect on the "unseen support" in your life. Inside, you'll find:
Soundtrack Your Life: What song matches your headspace right now?
The "Angel in Your Corner": Identify the human anchors in your life.
The "Spot the Angel" Grid: A 7-day challenge to train your eyes to see the good stuff buried under stress.
The 3-Step Reset: A simple guide to stop, notice, and reach out when you feel overwhelmed.
2. The Family & Youth Activity Sheet
Perfect for a 5-minute quiet moment, this sheet helps you explore what "being guided" feels like. It includes:
Reflection prompts: "Finish this sentence: I know I'm not alone because..."
Matching activities: See how God guides us through quiet strength, friends, and family.
Talking points: Questions to spark conversation at home or in youth groups.
Small Actions, Not Big Speeches
This Feast isn't just about the spirit; it's about being a guardian for each other. Whether you are in Hartstown, Huntstown, Blakestown, Mountview, or Littlepace, we are a community.
If you are struggling, you don't have to handle it solo. Talk to a youth leader, a parent, or reach out to the parish office. You are not a burden.
