An Update from Trócaire about how to return the Boxes and Donations

The weekend of the Pentecost (30/31 May) with the blessings of the Irish Bishops Conference, we are asking you to return your Trócaire Lenten donation. I am sure you will all understand that, if it is difficult to manage COVID-19 in Ireland, it is even more difficult in countries where people do not have access to secure housing, healthcare or clean water.  Every year Trócaire asks for your help during Lent to fund lifesaving programmes around the world. As you know it has not been possible this year to return Trócaire boxes in the usual ways. I am appealing to you now to return your Trócaire Lenten donation. Simply count or estimate what is in your box and donate in one of the following ways:

  1. Donate online at
  2. Phone1850 408 408 (ROI) or 0800 912 1200 (NI)
  3. Post to Trócaire, Maynooth, Co. Kildare (ROI) or Trócaire, 50 King Street, Belfast (NI)
  4. As usual you are welcome to return the Trócaire Boxes, Envelopes and other donations towards Trócaire to the parish church in Mountview. Please contact 0892174317 to make arrangements. Thank you.

The contents of each and every Trócaire box, no matter how small, come together to make a significant difference. This virus knows no borders, but neither does our compassion.
